CD's won't play in my 2k?

1st off, try different media. I have a 2k3, and haven't found a brand that doesn't work with it yet (Memeorex works fine in mine). Try something with a different color burning surface, like Imation, Sony, or whatever is on sale. The other problem is Adaptec Easy CD creator. It has 2 different modes you can burn in, either "disc at once" or "track at once". Try using a different mode, and see if that helps. I personally use Nero instead, much better burning program.

make sure you click on the finalize disc now so it'll play in all CD players I know Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 platinum has an option where you can write additional songs without finalizing but of course it wont play in all CD players

Thanks for the help. I am currently using NERO software to create my cd's so that sounds like I am in the clear. As far as burning speeds is concerned I have tryed it slower and it did nothing for me. I am going to try a different brand of cd's and if it still doesn't work trade it in
