As I was driving back from Madison, WI, my passenger side window would act like it is rolling up, hit the point where it closes and then reverses at 80+ mph. It did this three times on my way home. I was wondering if any of you guys have ever run across this.

First I hear of this...I have seen some post of windows rolling up then back down as though the pinch mechanism is kicking in....

 

Turns out that they have to reflash the auto feature on my windows. I am also going to check to make sure the window is not going out of track at that speed.

 

any reason why the window is acting up?

Electrical interference? did a short resutl in malfunc?

I am being serious. Clean the upper track/seat area, and the window itself.

 

Yeah...I was like WTF? I hit the button to make it go all the way up automatically and it would go like 3/4 of the way and go back down. I mean, it worked eventually and it still works now...but when I was going like 90 it just would not go up.

 

I'll keep that in mind.

Man, I am glad to know it's not just me. I had the same reaction the first time it happened. I was definitely like WTMFH is going on here?
