Testing MAF Sensor
It looks like (from AlldataDIY) to test the MAF sensor I probe between either the white(?) or black(?) wire coming from the MAF harness, and ground. The specifications listed are 1.2-1.8V at idle, or 7.0 - 20.0 g.m/sec at 2,500 rpm (the latter pulled via CONSULT-II), all with the engine warmed up to normal operating temperature.
Does anyone know for sure which wire to tap to read the 1.2-1.8V? From the diagram
it looks like the white wire carries positive voltage (QA+)
I'd like to test mine at least, although with the margin they provide (1.2-1.8V) it sounds like even a slightly poor-running MAF would be within specs (i.e. if it were outside of spec, my engine would run like complete ****)
