i have a 2000 maxima....i have a bose....and decided to add a 12"...but everytime i turn up the music sumthing seems to rattle....and it rattles pretty loud...and im sure its not the license plate.

 

how bout the trunk?? i have 2 10s and what rattles is the trunk and the deck behind the back seats...........o and the spoiler too depending on how loud u bump ya system

 

i have the same problem with just the stock bose 6. it is the deck and other things in the trunk.

 

Its the two bars that run across the top of the trunk, the ones that control the opening/closing of the lid. If you hold them in place they'll stop rattling. That did the trick for me.

 

most of the time the rear deck rattles.. this can be fixed with some dynamat or a more ghetto approach with some foam or old shirts or something in between the metal and the deck. If you have rattles coming from the front, check your sunglasses holder.
