First Impressions - FSTB

Wow. It's like someone replaced my family sedan with a F1 race car. I thought I was riding on rails.

NOT.

Sorry guys, but this is just another cosmetic mod. Perhaps when I do a RSB, it'll be better. Granted, I don't take 90 degree turns at 50 mph, so I'm probably not getting the full benefit.

For me the FSTB improvement was minor. The RSB improvement however, is huge. Together, they make my Max handle much better.

Having just the FSTB makes no noticeable improvement. However, once you install that rsb, you will definitely feel the improvement in the handling.

You have to be very sensitive and in tune with the characteristics of your car to notice the difference. I do agree it is very minor but I did have a more positive steering feel with it.

The RSB works best when it is adjusted to it's stiffest setting.

The RSB difference was MUCH more profound than the FSTB, but I did notice a small difference.

I noticed a little difference, but I love the way it looks so I'm happy with it.

Only the Stillen RSB can be adjusted by moving the bar towards the front of the car.

but beware...when i put my RSB in, it did handle much better over smooth roads, but it exacerbates the lack of control that the max's non-independent suspension is prone to over bumps when turning. it stiffens up the rear end, so the car seems even more skittish.

If the Progress looks anything like the Addco. On the brackets located on the beam, move them further out from each other.

And on the brackets to the side, move them out further from the curve of the RSB. (mine sits at 1" from the end of the bar).
