Debaging

Finally,

I have my car now after waiting month 1/2 for them to fix wind noise
and repaint/ replace door

Im now a proud maxima owner, they gave me a loaner car ( 02 grand prix) to drive. And a letter to have my 30,000 mile check done
free, so I guess its all good.

First thing I did was take off there company sticker an will take
off the se/maxima on the back, I was just wondering do you guys
like the way the back looks with just "nissan" on it.

I put side markers and replace the fog light bulbs with xtremes
instead of factory. Today going to put in lower grill. I will
send pics later.

from a thread that ran yesterday
"If it's a nice warm day and the car has been in the sun for a while, you probably just need some dental floss or fishing line. I used dental floss, a hair dryer and Goo Gone. If you use a hair dryer just heat behind the letter as you're pulling it and it comes right off. They left a little bit of glue behind on the car but some Goo Gone and water will take that right off."

I shaved my A$$ last weekend. I do think it looks better. I used a string to pop them off. Then a ton of goo gone and elbow grease to get the residue of there. Now I need to polish it to get the faded lettering off there. It is only noticable at very close range.

Monofilament fishing line of at least 30 pound test is the best for sawing through that glue...and then a good helping of goof off. Did it to mine as well.

It is not jus stick on. It has two little holes that actually go into the car. They will need to be covered and painted.

Did you get a shop to fill and paint the trunk lid to do that? How much would a shop charge for something like that? Or did you do it yourself?
