Anyone with H&R Springs

I want to put H&R's on my 03 GLE, but I need to know what type to get. I think I read that there are 3 types. I don't want to drop the car too much, just enough for better handling and better look...not for racing or anything. I also don't want a stiff ride...Which set should i buy. Thanks for the input!!!!!

Go for the H&R sport drop, you can get them at TireRack.com for $218 shipped. Check out my homepage for pics.

There's only the H&R sport available for the 5th Gen Maxima.

I've got H&R (Sports) on my 03 SE. The ride is actually smoother than the stock SE suspension on bumps. But there's less roll in the corners and when changing lanes. I've got mine matched to KYB GR2 struts and shocks.

I'm very impressed and satisfied with this setup.

Here's a pic:

Good luck with yours,

Bob

some people dont want a huge slam. i put my H&Rs and i have a comfortable ride with pretty good handling. The clearance is still good with the H&Rs which benifits you a lot.

i can drive with 4 people in my car and not worry about a thing like bottming out or rubbing.

dont get Maxspeeds. the H&Rs are just better(more comfortable ride and a 100% german made)...you pay for what you get

Yeah, Idiots like me, nice comeback genius.

I see you're friend's with NT2Shabby (Heath) and since you said anything else other than Teins are that must mean you're calling Heath gay because he rides on MaxSpeeds.

No point in arguing here, I mean this IS the internet, but since you like to FLAME on other people's rides, have you ever looked hard into the mirror lately and wondered why FLAME and you're name are in the same sentence??

I wasn't trying to impress anyone !.......Especially not you, oh lord and master of the drop !

I'm just reporting it as i see it. The ride is great with the H&R and i couldn't be happier with the setup. I have never taken a drive in a Max with Maxspeed or Teins so i can't comment on those.

actually Rob (92SE-R) wouldn't say **** to me in person about my maxspeeds cuz he knows 3 things:

(1) I am his only source at this point for chronic
(2) he's seen my drop, he knows it looks hot
(3) he knows I'd throw him the worst beatin of his life

I rest my case...

I make you cry?? That's pretty sad if all I asked was 1 simple question?? See, that's the problem with you: When you start to feel then you and then out all these personal attacks?

Come to NY to meet you say? I don't have to, I live in NY schmucko!

Beat me you say? I'd VERY MUCH Like to see that! Keep laughing when you're online now tough guy. The internet's only for S**t's and giggles until it catches up to you in person.

BTW, where's YOUR homepage?? and Please enlighten me on one of your threads (if any??) on how great the handling on that car is? Based on the drop, you pretty much prove your maturity as why you want the "slammed" look over other drops which focus on handling and performance.

Everyone is more than welcome to post their own opinions, thats the point of a board, but he has no right to flame other cars and call other cars gey. Thats just ignorant.

H&R IMO, is the best overall performance for aftermarket springs in term of drop & ride comfort. I found the ride of my car to be much more smoother and comfortable (no bouncing/floating) except when encountered some bad pavement sections on the road. With the mods that I had done, SFC's/UDP/Struts bars, the steering is now very communicative and tighten up significantly too!
