Question about side markers

I have clear side markers all around and have noticed that the back light looks pink instead of red. Annoying as hell. My friend suggested that I remove the bulbs and just keep them off. Will I get a ticket if my side markers don't light up? Any ideas about improving the pink lights?

Put different bulbs in there. I've got white LEDs that give it a bluish tinge. As far as getting hassled, depends where you live and how the are. You can get a ticket for the clear corners regardless of what color the bulbs are.

Another option is to paint the bulbs. I've never used this stuff but people claim it works. It can paint the bulbs silver but still light up the color of the bulb...pretty cool:

Different laws in different areas, afaik. Here in WA state, you must have amber and red reflectors on the sides of your car. The clear bumper lights are ILLEGAL here in the daytime, regardless of what bulbs you have in there. I have amber/red bulbs in there, so at night it's fine. With white or bluish bulbs in there, it's always a gamble...
