B&m Sts???

I have the SMC/Pacesetter STS from CustomMaxima.com.
It's been acting up (not heat-shield).

I was wondering if the B&M STS is any good. Thanks.

I have it and love it. Straight fit, no installation problems at all. Not stiff, slightly notchy at first (but I think it was just me trying to get used to it). Only down side is that it is not adjustable but for me that ok because the throws are just right for me.

If you can get it for $135 - $145 then go for it.

I have one, love it. Someone else had the Pacesetter and went to the B&M and liked it more.

Pacesetter SUCKS and people dont want to admit it. When u install it and drive around the shifting becomes impossible. The adjustable ball is bigger then stock so when it warms up it becomes impossible to shift. What u need to do it shave the ball so it fits easily.

I dont know about b&m but pacesetetr S U C K S!

I told Pacesetter what my problem was, and they said they have never had any problems with their shfters...THAT WAS THEIR ANSWER!!

Thanks for the Customer Service, Pacesetter.

I have the B&M and it's the best sts I've ever driven on... It sits lower, if not the same height as the pacesetter and the throws seem to be shorter. Especially the 2-3 shift vs the pacesetter.
