New Wheels, Teins - KYB's & HKS Exhaust (Pics)

Just finished installing the Tein springs, GR-2's, HKS Exhaust and the 18x7.5 Arospeed RS-GT wheels. The wheels look a little small in the pics for some reason. They don't look too bad though for cheap wheels. I wanted Volk TE-37's but these will do for now. Heres a couple pics.

Nice. I think some clear side markers would make your car look a lot "cleaner".

the drop looks a little lower in the back, you got a sub box back there or something? was the HKS exhaust full catback or just the muffler..how much did that run ya?

as for owning any other springs than Tein..I resent that...just installed my Progress and the ride is almost like stock springs..even with my 20's...the drop looks just about the same as well

No sub box in the back, maybe it just looks that way because of the incline its parked on. The HKS is just the rear section, cost me about $400.

What size tires are you using? I see your point about the wheels looking small...I wonder if it's an optical effect due to the silver part of the rim?

How do you like the ride on the Teins? Mine is good but bouncy.

The tires are 225/40/18. Teins are cool, just a little bouncy.

Did you decide against the 235s? That's the size I'll probably get, however some people say that the 245s will be fine on the 7.5" wide wheels I'm looking to get...I'm not convinced

I wanted 235's but the place where I got the wheel/tire package only offered up to 225's. I think the max size you can put on a 7.5 wheel is a 225.

02max...it aint ur wheels..its ur tires...245/40's woulda been much more meaty and looked better..

Those wheels wouldn't look too good on a camaro. On a sliver car I prefer the gunmetal look. I think polished clashes too much with the color of the car. Just my opinion though. Here's a pic of my Camaro. I have Fikse FM/5's 17x9.5 up front and 17x11 out back.

Yea they are pretty wide, the tires are 315/40's. It's a blast to drive. Only take it out during the weekends, the Maxima is our daily driver.

They are subframe connectors, stiffens the car up.

That does look lower! Compare it to mine:

How's the ride with Eibachs? They don't seem to be too popular on the .Org but the drop looks tight?

Oh, I think we both need wheel spacers

Yes I have replaced the lower control arms. That combined with the drag radials I have awesome traction.

They are Arospeed RS-GT's 18"x7.5" (Gunmetal)

They cost about $1100 with the tires, lug nuts, mounted and balanced and shipped to my door.

How's the ride? Is it as bouncy as my Teins?

My buddy has Eibachs on his 2000 Accord...very uneven drop. The ride was fine until he put his sub box back in the trunk and it got rough Also, the back was the part that was lower...the price we pay for bass
