ok guys, I have a question about gas mileage on our maximas. I have a 2000 se. I drove an hour away and used a quarter of a tank. Is that a lot? it seems like pretty crappy gas mileage. I use premium gas all the time. I was just wondering if anyone else gets similar mileage or could maybe trouble shoot for me.

how many miles did you drive in that one hour? it can be 30 and up to 100....

best way to measure your fuel economy is to fill up the tank, reset your trip odometer, and run it until the light comes up. then fill up the tank again....use your trip miles divide by the amount of gas you just filled.

You don't have to drive until the light comes on. Just record the miles when since the last fill up and divide by the number of gallons used. Type of driving will make a difference.
