2kmaxima-warrenty and battery question

Well today I had a rude awakening. My car won't start. Looks like the battery, but not sure yet. What was the warrenty that 2k Nissan Maxima come with? And also, does it cover battery replacment?

If I have to replace the battery, any recommendation? Btw, I live Hawaii. So doesn't need to be a winter type bttery. No super audio system. But I do alot of night driving. I use HIDs so I don't think the power drain is all that much worse.

When mine needs replacing I'm going to get an Optima battery. I think they look cool and are supposed to out-perform most other car batteries.

I replaced the one in my 2k SE (at 45k miles) with another stock Nissan battery. Can't beat OEM.
