2000se power 2001gxe power

i work on a dealer lot, i have a 2000se with injen, fstb, rsb and other little mods, with 42,000 on it,i traded a 2001 gxe with 52,000 and it seems 2 run stronger than mine! trans shifts harder and from a dead stop it spins tires much harder than my se with the 17 inch wheels, the gxe has 16.any input?

cause the gxe has lighter wheels.... and it has a little bit more torque
the 17s on the maxima are pretty heavy

Yea, the 16s will make that difference. I have my stock 16s on right now and my car seems to have much more power than with my old 18s.

I think 17" rims are about 50-52lbs. For each pound of unsprung weight=eight pounds of curb weight..

The 16" rims are about 40-42lbs
