Installed a HID Plus High/Low kit in my 2K Max today

One of my friends is letting me try a HID Plus 7500K blue High/Low Hid Kit on my car to see if I wanna buy em off him. We installed it today in my AE headlight housings and the install went pretty well. Only thing is that the high beams wont work for some reason. Like it gets stuck on something??? Anyone know anything about this?
Anyways, I just got back from driving around at night with just the lows and they are pretty damn nice. THe color is 7500k and its pretty much all blue. I like the color alot and the color of the light on the ground is a really bright white with a bluish tint. I was just wondering if anyone had experiences with this kit on a 5th gen and if they have any ideas on how to get the Highs to work.....
Ill post some pics soon.

The beam pattern is very similar to stock, like light isnt all over the place, but the beam seems to travel farther, and the light is crisper. Now when Im sitting at an intersection and cars pass by I can see the people in the cars perfectly hehe.

I had the same kit installed before on my 2k1.. I couldn't get the high beam to work as well. You can hear the motor turn but it won't activate. I think it's because the gromet gets in the way and the bulb can't turn. Try it without the gromet and see if it works.

Its not aimed too high I dont think. The height is pretty much the same as stock.

The kit is sold by www.hidplus.com I believe, but the site is down for updates. I dont know the price of a brand new kit and I havent paid anything for it yet because my friend who is selling it is letting me test it out to see if I like it for a week.

Which gromet are you talking about? That rubber thing that goes on the outside of the back of the bulb? Id really love to get the Highs working. You described exactly what happens when I try the highs, the motor makes noise but wont move. Is the gromet you are talking about number 5 in this diagram?:
