Racing

My co-worker has a 1991 Camaro RS (T.B.I V-8 with 170 hp and 255 ft-lbs) and I have a 2003 Maxima SE(V-6 255 hp and 246 ft-lbs). There is a huge bet at work on which will win and we have yet to race to find out. What do you guys think?

P.S. I am pretty confident....just want to make sure!

P.S.S- Both are autos by the way!

off the line....its a drivers race....top end....you by a longshot!

Doesnt the RS have a V6? Either way I think you'll win.

you should have no problem killing him in top end. thats about 80hp difference. his torque will only get him off the line, then hes your prey. have fun toying with him, then just floor it. make it seem like its a good race, so the fans can get their money's worth..

i agree. i raced my buddy in his auto 90 camaro rs. he got me off the line cause of the torque but after about 30mph i TOOK HIM!!!
he was p!ssed!!

and it is a V-8
5.0L 8 Cylinder 170 hp (not a very good hp/cyclinder ratio)

LOL...trust me...this aint no Z28! Ive checked it out and there isnt a Z on it! He can only wish that he had a Z28

LOL....hey guys got some news. I told my co-worker about these forum results and he got hot headed and wanted to go for a run. So we lined up and I look over at him...he was sweating like R. Kelly at an 8th grade prom...anyways...we launched. I brake torqued with slight wheel spin and he did the same with a little less wheel spin, but needless to say, I pulled at least a car lenght on him. Then as we went to second gear I pulled at least 2 more car lenghts. As expected, as I was looking in my mirrors I saw him shut down and turn aroud. So I decide to shut down and follow him back to work. As I got out.. all he could say was DAMN. All the co-workers that betted against me were looking at the Max in awe. They had seen the whole thing and just sat there jaws to the ground. Just wanted to let you guys know. Another kill for the Max!
