Problems with KYBAGX/Eibach drop?

I'm at a loss, and I'd love some help or ideas.

Installed the springs and struts a few months ago. Great performance, takes clover leafs at 60+ mph. But a few weeks later, I get this squeaking noise from the front left end. The sound is present when coasting, braking, or turning to the right. It's a rhythmic squeak-squeak-squeak that is related to the rpm of the wheel. I replaced the brake pads, that's not it. We took apart and reinstalled the front left side which diminished the noise, but a week later it came back even louder. Re-aligned the front and rear at a professional shop; amazingly the sounds went away for another week. Then, I turn the car on one day, start driving away and there it is again, and now there's a new sound...a clunking sound that goes clunk-clunk-clunk when I start to accelerate from low rpm.

I don't get it, I'm ticked off, and before I throw in the towel and go to the dealer, I'd like to know if anyone here has had problems with their modified KYB AGX's/front upper strut mounts, or if anyone has any ideas. Bushing? Upper strut mount? I tried a search on the test website without much luck. Let's see who our thinkers are!!Thanks!

Being it's wheel speed related, it's not your suspension.

Check your brake dust shield, you probably bent it during the installation. If you just take a really big screwdriver you can push it away from the back of the rotor without even taking the wheel off! Just poke through your wheel spokes and give it a shove.

Other then that, maybe you have an axel or a hub bearing thats causing some problems.

Thanks, I'll check the brake shield...it didn't seem bent out of place, but it's worth a push. Unlikely a bearing though. Too many experienced heads have shaken their heads at that idea. Can't rule it out completely however.

Did anyone else have issues with AGX installs?

This happened to me. it was actually the wheel berrings. This happened on both sides of my car (front left and right) but at different times. Nissan fixed one side and id not check the other. The right side then made the same noise about 10K miles later. The frequency of the squeek increased with speed. It also got louder with the direction that i turned. When the left bearings went out it got real loud when i turned in a certain direction.(I cant remember which direction it was, left or right. I have eibachs to but i dont see the springs being the cause. they said it might be b/c i keepings hitting bumps really hard, but i dont do that. whatever, I hope this helps
