Hey all,

I am thinking of getting the pirelli pzero nero m+s tires in the 225 45 17 size. The treadware is great and reviews have been good as well. Also the price is not bad at all either. Just wanted to know if anyone has any thoughts on the lower profile size compared to the OEM. Let me know what you think.

I've got the sumitomos in that size and the're great tires. There is less cushion with a 45 series, so the ride is a little more sporty.

I'm running Eibach springs and KYB AGX's and the combo with the Sumitomo's is pretty cool.

BTW, I really recommend the AGXs because you can adjust depending on how your butt feels.

I'm also running 225/45/17. Unfortunatly there's quite a wheel gap in the front if you don't drop your ride. Alot of people don't like that but I can deal with it. I've got pics in my homepage of my max, so check it out.

I have Goodyear Eagle HP Ultra plus 235/45ZR17's and they ride great just wondering if there were any reviews on my tires.

Go with 235/45/17. I just ordered the Contiextremecontacts. Check out the reviews on Tirerack.com for this Ultra high performance all season tire. They rated higher than the Pilot A/S Sport. Read the consumer reviews too. These tires are a steal at the price.

I was riding on 225/45-17's and the speedometer was off by 5% and it made wheel gap even with Eibach springs. Go with 245/45-17 like i did as posted in that thread.
