This may sound stupid but whenever I drive my old ladys 2k3 I feel alot of heat coming from the engine bay. The temp guage is fine but after some highway races I let the car cool down for about 5min with my bootleg turbo timer.

I know its nothing but do any of you do the same?

Do you feel the heat while your in the car never been an issue on my ride

Only when it is at idle. I feel the fan blowing the heat and it's annoying when the window is open. The car is fine other wise except for those stupid *** brakes.

I am just paranoid. I have had my fare share of problems with maxima's in the past

Ahhh yes the warped rotor syndrome If thats what your refering to then a resurface is all it will take. My fronts never warped but by rears sounded like the car was farting every time id come to a stop. I jst got ride of my stock rotors and got cross drilled, the 5th gens have some stupid problem for some reason. The windnoise tsb, the gasfiller lid lets dirt in but thats all that was wrong with mine which I took care of within a week. My old maxima had problems as well, stupid window motors/regulators. It got to the point were the rear window was falling down so I just bolted the damn thing shut, I was sick of replacing them,
