Interior light question

Just picked up my 2K2 6 speed...

Are the buttons on the steering wheel supposed
to light(trip, volume, cruise)when the headlights
are turned on ? Thanks

I'm pretty sure that they don't. I don't remember mine ever lighting up. I could go out and make sure, but I'm just too lazy right now.

I also wondered about that, it doesn't make sense why they wouldn't. They have power running to them and everything else in the car is lit up. I got my 2003 and I noticed that they didn't also!!!
