Anyone have Dunlop SP Sport A2's

Just curious if anyone is running these and if they are having any issues with them.

Used to have them on a '93 Prelude and they were very good.

Yes i had them and they suck...
I had them on my ride for about 10,000 miles and they were bald as ****...
My friend also bought them for his ride and he didn't even get 10,000 miles outa them...
STAY away from them...they squeel all the time too...
What a waste of money

Had them on a 95 Infiniti and a 2001 Camry, and they were fine. Grippy and held well in the turns. You say you wore yours out in 10K miles, maybe what you thought was a "squeel" was actually a scream for mercy.

I had a set on my '87 and now have them on my '96. Excellent tire for the money.

I have SP Sport W10's (similar) on my car now and they're great wet or dry but are pretty bald and need to be replaced. Gonna put a new set of SP Sport A2's on hopefully in 2 weeks.

I am having issues w/vibrations at high speed. Dealer and tech says these tires are rated @ H and are not sufficient for the Max. I am not sure, but they are going to cost me a lot of money regardless. I would think twice.

What is considered sufficient, then? H rated tires are good for speeds up to 130. How often do people travel there? Have they tried balancing them?

I've had my 99 5spd north of 130 and there was no vibration. I will NOT do that again though. Stupid rear beam was making the back-end twitchy. Tires were fine though. Vibration could mean alignment issues, not that the tires suck.

I think 3.5 SE's came with V-rated, 3.5 GXE/GLE with H-rated, but I forget.
