Uh oh is right, leaving SoCal wasnt a choice I made but no earthquakes here are nice... Too many small quakes in a short period of time. I dont have a good feeling about this, the last BIG one, sucked. I dont like waking up 4 in the morning to people yelling and **** falling

If Calif. fell into the ocean, Arizona might have beaches... But we would have to survive the quake first. that would be scary. But then while its falling into the sea it will create its own earthquake, probably bigger the the first. Would there also not be a tidal wave causes by such a massive disturbance ? So, not only would be have to survive that, but southeast asia and other places would be desrtoyed ...
I think its too early ...I'm thinking too much

While earthquakes are common in Cali thanks to the San Andreas fault (a strike-slip fault), there is a potential for an earthquake in NYC. There's a relatively inactive faultline that runs beneath 125th street and its well past due for one of those "once in a century" quake. (Think New Madrid, Missouri quake of 1911, which changed the configuration of the Mississippi River and was felt as far away as Boston, Mass.)

Had a samll 3.0 in Western KY. Just wait till the New Madrid fault shakes the heartland again at full force. Made the Mighty Mississippi flow backwards for days. and created a lake. That's an earthquake.

You did hear about the 3.8 quake that was centered in New Jersey near the Delaware River - and within the last couple of days . . .

I would like to live in San Diego, but I don't want to have a floating house. I used to live in NC, but that is pretty much the same as VA....

Just playing with you. For some of us, we relocated for the very reason of a 4th season. Winter sucks!

I love winter and snow. As much as I would like to move to So Cal I can't imagine not having snow anymore. Although it would be nice not to have 2 cars and just have one really nice one
