Guys, i need help!!!

This is the third time my headlights are stolen. I live in NYC, yes it is a hot city to steal the lights in, but everytime it happened it was in the middle of the day. I have a garage, i pay for a garage, but it seems like it does nothing for me. I am leasing my maxima, i had it for 9 month. The insurance pays me out but i have a feeling they wont renew me. The real reason i am writing here, is because i think there is no where else to turn but here, because there are only maxima lovers here.

I asked diff mechanics to help me fit 2001 lights, but they said we have to bend the fenders and hood to match lights. I asked them to weld the lights and they say its plastic, i really have no idea what to do. I need suggestions, help anything you can offer me i would appreciate it. Security Nissan created to kinda support the headlights only does more damage when thiefs take it. I drive at night because i need to feel like i still own the car. But when i am stopped i tell cops, they just stole them and i am on my way home, worked 5 times for me already. Another cop when he stopped me he said at first he thought it was a Ferrari (moron) because all i have are fog lights and they are so low that he thought only low suspension cars have headlights so low. what a dumb ***!

wow, welding? bending hood? No, to drop in 2k lights it takes $4 worth of lower clips and high school shop class level wiring skills. That is all

The real problem you will have is with the lease. You should still get the 2k3 lights back and keep them for when you are ready to return the car. As for the 2k1 light fitting it is very easy. If you still have problems holla back I am in NY.

 

just got a call from one of the guys in nissan shop, he said he will get me xenon lights $1000 a pair cost price, and $280 for 2001 lights.

 

If you want I'll trade my 2k lights with you! lol

 

Of course the evil consequence of this for all Maxima owners is that your regardless of whether or not your Max gets hit, your insurance is going up...

Hmmmmmmmmmmm just go on Ebay or to a private shop in NYC and ask for the headlights. I am sure both EBAY and most shops in NYC have everyone's stolen lights. This is what I think is happening, shops are sending out people to steal them and well not to be to much of a thinker but I believe other Nissan owners are stealing our HID's and putting them into there 3rd and 4th generations max's. Just my thought, not accusing anyone of it but its a thought!!!
