Willing to donate money for an aftermarket MAF

I got to see what it was like to have a blown MAF sensor today. I have the Weapon R intake that seems like the intake that has given people the most problems. I am willing to donate money to anyone that has ties with a company that can make an aftermarket MAF sensor for us. One that would be of good quality and function. It is really sad when you can't even have an intake on your car in fear of doing damage. I don't think I can live without the noise and fun factor of an intake which is why I can't accept the car with the stock air box. I enjoy improving the preformance pf the engine through modifications. I mean, imagine what it would be like trying to have a supercharger or turbo application on this car work properly when an intake alone flows too much air for the sensor to handle. Surely something can be done. Who can help?

there is a company named Wells that has developed a maf for 00 & 01 maxes. autozone is supposed to carry the product but is unavailable at this time but is listed on their website. since they are fairly similar, maybe they have a 2k2 and 2k3 in the works. i dont have a website for them but im sure they have some contact info on the web.

That is good information.
We need to explore all of our options. Keep these ideas coming.

That is a good idea. There would have to be a large interest for one to be made unless it's in the works already. Nobody really seems interested.

Speaking of which, I just found Wells' website- http://www.wellsmfgcorp.com ... they had some interesting articles on the "DIAGNOSTICS" link at the top.
