DAMN ECLIPSE... autobody question..

I was at the video store today and some damn eclipse pulls up to the parking spot next to me... im sitting in the car cause my friend is returning some videos... i see that this eclipse is pretty close to me, but I would imagine the guy in there passenger seat was INTELLEGENT... but guess not, he was a MORON, he just lets his door FLY open and *WHAM* MY CAR SHAKES.... I look over and see him retract the door back and look around, I roll my window down and give him a dead stare *WITH ANGER FLOWING ALL THROUGH MY VEINS* He says "IM SORRY!" "IM SORRY", Then I go out to look and 2 of my friends come out from the store... we survey the damage.. it was dark so I couldnt see but i felt it and felt nothing.. but saw some paint... The old man's wife came out and says ... "OH ITS NOTHING, THATS NOTHING AT ALL I DONT SEE NOTHING.." at this point im about to stick my foot through the Eclipse window and tell the lady "OH ITS NOTHING, THATS NOTHING AT ALL!" but my friends tell me to calm down... the man continues to say sorry... So we slowly leave... the man wouldnt get out of his car until we left the parking lot completely... we went to the gas station where there was more light.. Theres a 8mm paint chip and a dent the size of a quarter where the door hit.. i know it doesnt sound like much but IT SURE ****ED ME OFF.. But I was wondering if such a small dent can be pulled out?

it can be popped out but it wont be perfect as in it wont be as smooth as it was before best thing to do is just have body work done to it...but im a son of an auto body mechanic so if it were me il just replace the entire door and have my dad paint it for me

I have the EXACT same thing, and it happened the EXACT same way (except it was a young kid who gave me $40 that he had or else it would have been his ***), except I didn't have any paint come off.

Maybe I should claim insurance and pocker the money.. ahahaha.. nah.

exactly....i always try to park in a spot where there's only one car next to me even if i have to walk an extra 100 ft or so...and i dont park next to SUV's whatsoever, i dont care if it's the world's best parking spot....freakin' SUV's never fit into their spots so it's door-ding heaven when the pompous i-think-i'm-king-of-the-road-but-watch-me-flip-this-in-two-inches-of-snow SUV owner comes out and swings his doors freely...

Ditto, that is why I usually park in the back of the lot with no cars around. And when I come back, I find my car surrounded, yet there are still empty spaces to both sides. I really think that urinal etiquette should apply to parking as well.

Also the parking lot was nearly empty, 3-4 spots available.. and they chose to park next to me with inches to spare.. I should have rapidly backed out when I saw them so close. I looked at it this morning.. its not too bad, just very annoying to see.. along with the rock chips and nissans sorry a$$ paint... it makes me not even want to drive the car anymore Nah, its not too bad.

I HATE when people park next to me...i ALWAYS park at the back of the parking lot no matter wat! Or i find a car that is in tail first for the passenger side and someone in nose first on the drivers side because there is a good chance they don't have passengers so my doors have more of a chance of being perfect when i return.
