I don't know, he's got a stick and 193 hp and about 205 ft./lbs. of torque. If he knows his car's shift points real well and it's in good condition, I think he'll beat you. It's gonna be close, I'll tell you that.
1998- 328i E46 M52 V6 193 HP 0-60: 7.0 sec.

Ok, I was under the impression 1998' BMW's are E36's, have 190hp, and are straight sixes. Not sure about the zero-60 times. My dad has a 98' 528i and he keeps up REAL good with my 2k. With the three series being lighter, don't sleep. Peace_

a 328 should be a lot quicker than the 325 especially if its stick. however 4th gens are not that much slower than early 5th gens. so im guessing that it would be a very close race.
if the max is auto the 328 should win, if its stick then its hard to tell

Just don't torquebrake too much or you'll spin out and he will win to 60, you'll catch him at 65 and pull on him but he will win on take off's due to the 5 speed and lighter car.
They are really nice cars and they handle like a knife's edge, I would race one everytime I see one just to see if the driver knows his car as well as other owner's do.
