2K Tranny TSB Dealer Experience

Just took my 2K SE in to the dealer today to check out the transmission slippage problem. I started to experience this problem shortly after I bought the car about 3 weeks ago. The TSB (NTB00-039a) is very specific about what the problem is and how to cure it, but it is an American TSB and I wasn't sure if it applied in Canada. However, to make a long story short, the dealer was great and after checking out the car (not sure exactly what they did) they told me that a solenoid had to be replaced and there is a "bulletin" out on the problem. They are going to give me a car to drive while they do the repair, which will take a full day. I am very happy with the response of the dealer so far and if everything goes well I'm considering sending a complimentary email to Nissan Canada. My Max has 60,000 KM on it.

Cheers,

Update

Further to my previous post, took my Max in for the tranny work and they were very pleasant and even gave me a loaner car. It was 2:30 when I brought it in and I called them back at 6PM to see how everything was going, they said that my car was good to go, they had just finished the work. Got to the dealership to pick up my car and they had everything ready for me to sign and welcomed me, didn't make me wait. The Head Guy said that the problem should be fixed now, but if you have any more troubles just bring it in and we'll take care of it. Driving away I put the boots to it at the first oportunity, the engine was already warm, but I did notice a difference, quicker to shift 1-2 and 2-3. Then this morning driving to work, engine/tranny still cold as I pull onto the highway (my house is 30 seconds from the highway) put the boots to her and accelerate, 1-2 is quick, no problem, 2-3 a bit slower but still much better that what it was. So in conclusion, the problem was TSB039 and the dealer fixed it without hassles and my car is back to 100%

To that particular dealer only - what was his name, I didn't catch it? We should build dealer's rating list one day, that could find a lot of use around here.
