Has anyone added a moonroof to their maxima? I have a 2000 GLE, and I'd love to add a moonroof. If anyone knows approx prices or any info, i'd appreciate it.

 

pretty sure the dealer can do it for you....i paid 600 to get one installed from a dealer on my car 3 cars ago, was just like from the factory, so i'd say that's probably around what you're looking at price-wise...

 

Really? It looked like it was from factory and cost only $600 (the roof retracts into the rear section of the roof, not over the roof)? Isn't moonroof option like $1000? It'd be great if you can retrofit the moonroof.

 

yep, 600 and change from the dealer....in 1999 on my cavalier but it wasnt a moonroof, my bad, it went up and over so i guess that'd be a sunroof, sorry for the confusion

 

I was estimating it would cost around $1,000 for a moonroof, Id like to do it through Nissan, but i could probably find a better deal locally, I just don't want any damage to my car, or have any leaking issues....
