Vibration at highway speeds

well..
it seems alot of people have warped rotors, but its more likely your tires. One thing you can walk out and check right now is the little gray dots on your rims and tires. Nissan balances them separately and marks them with a dot, then just install with the dots lined up. if you see a big diff, that might be a place to start looking.
the other problem may be that the tire just sat too long. Not a problem for tires usually, but a tire that is already marginal could be affected.

300 miles is a little too few to determine off the bat if its your tires or not.. At around the 1k mark, if its still happening when you drive at a constant speed, its one of two things.. tires, or axle. I doubt its the axle..
My tires were all out of whack when I picked up my 2k.. balancing, that is.
I have always had a vibration when braking from high speed though.. I thought it was a result of the unbalanced tires.. but thats been fixed forever... Now I've got 32k miles and about to replace the front brake rotors and pads with some higher end..

could also be a bad tire in that the steel belts are separating (had that happen with a tire on my old maxima, and it was a new tire too). if thats the case, have it checked out and have them try to balance it. if it is separating the balancing will be difficult if not impossible I believe. Also check for tire bubble, and tight lugs

lugs
could be your lugs are loose. try to see if they are nice and tight. if you brake and don't hear or feel a thing or notice that cures the problem then that's what it is. if not it's the wheels or axles.

Reading your post. At highway Speeds, A little vibration. Sound like a balanceing problem more then anything. does it have a break in speed from which speed to which speed it happins in? meaning like b/w 50-70.. how bad is it? does the wheel start to shake a bit left to right?
