Help On Making An Exhaust!!
hey guys, i own a 2000 and a 2004 nissan maxima. and my buddy owns a shop down by his house. and im just wondering what would give me a low deep sound. i DONT want to buy Greddy or anything. im looking for a custom setup with a low, discreet kinda tone. i just need some advice on what kind of mufflers and resonators im lookin at. im going to try and custom my 04 exhaust system with the help of my pal. im leaning into dual flowmaster mufflers..
any suggestions??
anything at all would help me out.. thanks

Which car are you going to do?
On the 04 you won't need as big a muffler going dual. Go with 1.75-2" from the cats back. Try to do the least number of bends and put an 18" resonator in each pipe. You may even be able to get away with a straight through muffler as you'll have 2. With a full set of true duals there is a different flow. Instead of 3 cylinders firing in each pulse in a single pipe, there is a 2-1-2-1.
