place racing cai question

Hi,

I'm installing a Place Racing CAI in my 2000 Cali Maxima this morning. All is going smooth until I hook up the vacum hoses. I have one vacum hose running up from the transmission left over.

On the PR CAI the one large and two small vacum hose stems are connected to vacum hoses.

Also the boost sensor that was attached to the stock air box is just hanging out unattached. It was attached by two screws to the stock air box. It seems odd to have it just flopping around in there unattached.

Does anyone have any suggestions??

Vacuum hose from the transmission area? I have my car completely dissasembled and dont see this line. I had the PRCAI and didnt have any lines left over. The only ones you need to worry about is the Crackcase breather hose. The VAIS line, and one more that is slightly bigger than the VAIS line which is some sort of EVAP line.

Yea that sensor will just flop around until you make a spot for it or put it somewhere. Nothing really more you can do there for that one.

if you are auto, the vent coming from the transmission is a breather line that is left open intentionally. if you are manual, ive got no clue.

Thanks for the reply. It's a 5 speed. I'm going to run to the auto parts store and just T it into one of the other lines if we don't figure it out. Looked all over and don't see where I missed a nipple.
