- Remove three screws under steering column holding the column cover on. These are the screws inset into the deep wells
- Remove steering column cover
- Remove two screws underneath the top of the gauge assembly holding cluster cover on
- Carefully remove the cluster cover. You will need to pry at the top edge a bit to clear the dash.
- Disconnect the plugs for power mirrors and such and set the cover aside
- Remove three screws holding guage cluster in.
- Carefully remove the cluster.
- Disconnect the plugs on the back of the cluster. Do not insert the key into the ignition while these are disconnected. Use a flathead on the locking tabs if you have trouble with any of the plugs.
- Remove the clear plastic cover from the guage cluster. Use a flathead to pop the locking tabs if necessary.
- Press the guage rings on and ensure no adhesive is oozing.
- Reassembly in backwards order.

Here's a 2K1 pic. I found the install extremely easy. Make sure you record the mileage on your trip meter before unplugging the cluster, you'll lose it. I also used Zymol cleaner wax on the clear plastic covering the cluster. It's so clear now I can't tell it's even there! SWEET MOD!!!

That's what I did at first and the new rings didn't fit right at all. Simply just press the big rings right over your silver rings, then put the smaller two on.
