I am extremely pleased that everyone is satisfied with their rings.
I am quickly running out but not to worry, there will be plenty more available when I do.

Enjoy!

I want my guages to look as close to the pics polo posted as possible, so I ended up buying the synthetic bezel from auto accessory store last night. I decided to buy the synthetic one because I think the shine of the chrome rings will stand out better against the synthetic bezel, whereas the real aluminum bezel would look too much the same as the rings IMO. Hope this helps.

Can you verify that the bezel that Polo has is the one from www.autoaccessorystore.com. I also only like the way polo's looks compared to the people who have a real brushed alluminum bezel. I have already ordered the chrome rings but, I think it will only look better w/ polo's bezel then it does without.

like I said, I was told that he might have gotten his from a GD there a while back, so we'll see. Polo doesn't remember where he got it from. I ordered it from there on Sept. 28 and I still haven't recieved it. The shipping must be very slow. In my oppinion, the synthetic definately looks best with the rings. It matches the synthetic titanium accents that are already in the car pretty well. In the meantime, I'll be waiting anxiously.

Gauge Rings

I am excited, I was finally able to order the Gauge Rings and can't wait till they arrive. Now what else do I get for the Maxima? I am not sure about getting the Bezel, think it might look to cheesy with all the aluminum so close together since I already have the Brushed Aluminum Dash Kit.

Guys, let me get your opinion here.. I wanna try and see what these gauge rings, a brushed aluminum bezel, and the indiglow gauges would look like, I have'nt seen anyone with this set up.. Even though I like the looks of the indiglows, I love the titanium accent of the stock SE 2k2 gauges.. What do yall think they would look like?>

I just installed these rings on my 2K2, and they look great! Pretty easy. I didn't even have to unplug anything to do the install.

I decided NOT to install a new bezel, b/c those syn. brushed aluminum bezels won't match the stock 2K2 SE interior trim. Also, I think the chrome rings on the stock black bezel looks nice and classy. It might be too bright/flashy with the bezel too...

Those posts about fitment issues are mostly about the old rings that Sycefiro sold, which were for 4th gens. The 2 smaller rings required dremeling to fit 5th gens.

If there are any fitment issues with Maxmojo's rings, my guess is maybe you received the wrong year. Just contact him and I'm sure he'll fix the issue right away. My 1st set of rings was a little tarnished, but he exchanged it for me VERY quickly. Thanks Paradox!

I received my bezel yesterday. I'm not really impressed with it. The parts below the speedo and tach holes aren't even with each other and the material looks kinda cheap. I'm thinking that when I put my rings on, some of the stock black bezel is still going to show through. I didn't know it was just gonna stick on top of the existing bezel with 3M tape.
The $36 I paid was a little steep. I think $10-15 would have been a better price for this kind of material.

I guess I'll just have to see if it fits ok. Rings look great though!

Sounds like the syn. brushed alum. bezel everyone's getting from www.autoaccessorystore.com has bad fitment. Same complaints last time there was a GD on the same ones.

I just couldn't take it anymore. I ordered my rings too. Really thinking of getting the MOLDED dash kit from www.autoaccessorystore.com as well. But as of right now, I am trying to become a dealer. Anyone here try the molded kit? It is like twice as much money, but it doesn't seem to look stuck on.

Madmaxx, maybe mine was a little messed up. It's very minor though.
Was the spacing of the bezel piece you ordered equal under the tach and the speedo?

The spacing under my tach is smaller than my speedo.

Thanks for the reply. Mine seems to be like yours. I'll see if the difference is noticable once it is installed with the rings.

Just got my bezel too! It looks like its gonna match the other fake silver parts in the max(cd slot, arount a/t shifter, interior door handles, etc.) pretty nicely. And yes, mine also looks to be different. Though, If you look under the speedo and tach without the bezel on, it almost is the same way. I think with the rings over the bezel it wont matter anyway. It also kinda looks the same way where the 2 smaller rings meet the top of the dash. One looks thinner. You can see it in max03's pics. I think it looks pretty damn good!! I definatly will stare at it for awhile b4 I stick it on though. Mine is gonna look different b/c I have black gauges on my GLE.
