Put on my Teins yesterday

I installed my Teins with KYB GR-2s yesterday, and while I haven't had a chance to get my car cleaned and take some nice pics, a golden opportunity presented itself when my friend at work parked his stock 2K SE next to me today:

Sorry about the quality, we took these in the parking garage kinda on short notice.

Man, that green maxima looks like an SUV when compared to your car. It's just weired, maybe because of the lighting/angle.

Anyway, I will be installing mine this weekend and one thing that I am not sure about are the bump stops. Did you cut yours or did you go with aftermarket ones? Any installation tips would be greatly appreciated.

How's the ride quality? I've heard somewhere that this setup tends to be bumpy.

I didn't cut the bumpstops, but only because I forgot. The ride does seem a bit harsh if I hit bumps too hard, but I think as I get used to the new setup, my driving will probably adjust. The only problem I had was in the back, I ran out of thread on the shocks, so I had to use washers to shim it so I could tighten the nuts down all the way.

He just got those, too. He bought older Pilot Sports from tires.com (Discount Tire), and one got a puncture on the sidewall. They replaced in under his road hazard, but the version of the Pilot Sports he had are discontinued, so they replaced it with the A2s. They insisted on replacing the bad one and the one opposite it, because of the unidirectional pattern, which was decent of them. And of course, he rotated the older tires to the back. So right now, he has all Pilot Sports, but two are A2s, and two are not. :/ I told he he needs to **** up the other two old ones and get them all the same.

You should ALWAYS keep the older tires on the front. If you lose control on a turn, the rear traction will prevent you from fishtailing.

Even on a FWD car? I always thought you can accelerate out of fishtailing on FWD cars...
