Intake modification to cold air.

I've got a K & N filter intake. The old scope that draws in air for the factory intake is still there. I'm thinking of running a small tube from the outlet of the scoop to shoot the air right into the filter. I'm thinking it should give it cooler air coming through the scoop. Anyone agree disagree or have tried this.

search for OSCAI. that should give you an idea of what others have done and how they did it.
