18, full time UC student, full time job, bought my 2k3SE NEW on April 22, 2003 for 23k...just hit 10k miles the other day. Needed something faster and more practical than the TL...I was willing to lose the leather and luxury but I can't stand our crappy 40ft turning circle!

Car History:
1989 Mazda 626
1992 Mazda MPV (most pimp vehicle)
2002 Acura 3.2 TL (not the type s still a good car!)

I haven't seen this regularly repeated, waste of bandwidth, topic in over a month now. You post ****** are slipping. Oh well, they do it in the G35 forum too.

Well, actually, the majority of Max owners that frequent maxima.org and wanted to post their age are between 21 -35.

I found this on tirekick.com about the 2000 Maxima:

"Who will buy the new Maximas? Nissan is looking at psychographic studies that suggest customers who are active, confident, and young at heart. Typically homeowners with high disposable income, they're in stable relationships. "They love to drive," explained Jack Collins. "They love the dynamic feeling of the car." Specifically, the target buyer is 40 years old, with an $80,000 income. Close to two-thirds are likely to be male. "

I35 Sport owner. 22 years young. Bought it myself in cash. I think I skew the demographics for the I35!

Perhaps we should characterize it this way.

I35 v. I35 sport

I am 41 just bought my first Max, replacing a 2k Mustang, I should say upgrading from a 2k Mustang. I like the Max more everyday, feels funny driving the Mustang, I hate to say it, but it just isn't the Max. Better ride, faster, quieter, better fit and trim, Nice Ride!

I bought a 2000 Black SE, 5 speed with leather and Bose, paid $17,300 for it with 40k miles. Dealer was asking $18,900. Dealer would not budge from the $17,300 said the 5 speed was hard to find, so I snagged it up.

He is right, I looked high and low, no 5 speeds to be found!

Later,
Don

Thanks,

I'm an ancient 47 and I'll bet my Gremlin (100% vinyl interior) could have kicked your Vega's tail!

I have a 2K SE which followed a 96 SE which followed a 93 Altima. Have ordered an 04 SE, can hardly wait.

I bought my '03 SE on May 20 of this year as sort of an early b-day present to myself (plus my b-friend was getting a new Acura CL, didn't wanna park my poor old '99 Alero next to that) and I got a great deal with my Olds making the ultimate sacrifice and a lil money with that, and 1.9% financing to make it even better. LOVE the car, defintely the fastest, and highest quality so far and a pleasure to drive. Oh, and I love how I always feel like a freakin' pimp when I'm drivin'

16 = '91 Buick Skylark
18 = '99 Oldsmobile Alero GL
20 = '03 Grey Lustre SE

Hey Townsd, don't get ahead of your self using the word, "Young Whippersnappers". You'll only 42 years young.

I'm 37 years young, I bought my 2KSE max due to wife needing more room to put the baby seat, diaper bag, stroller, and other baby peripherals. My wife first said we should get a van and I said, or I will

Had to sell my 89 Toy 4X4 for the max but got my truck back years later with a 98 Chev S10 ext as my mod vehicle...still have it with more mods every week. Eventually, the wife wants me to sleep in the truck with all the money I spent on it. Just love modding things to my taste.
