I have a black max GXE and the exterior door handles I can't stand. I am looking for the body color handles. can anyoone lead in the right direction. Thanks

 

You can try a local junkyard, try http://www.copartfinder.com , or you can go through a Nissan dealer. I would try David Burnette (you can do a search for him) if you want brand new ones.

 

The cheapest way would be to find a wrecked black SE

If you can't find a junked car, you could always order the parts from Nissan and have them installed. You may even be able to talk to a body shop about painting the chrome ones, but I'm not sure how that works.

 

what don't you like about the chrome ones? i am willing to trade if you want...i have a grey interior

 

Mrburner, what is that story about keyless window up/down rewire? That sounds like a great thing during the summer.

damn, i need to update my mods list...i did that this weekend...basically it just makes it where you don't have to have the keys in the ignition to roll your windows up or down...basically it is very helpful so you don't have to wait to open any of the doors before the windows are up...also when you and a girl are in the back and it gets a little foggy...well, you get the idea...just doesn't require the key to be in the ignition at all...the guy that posted it on here said its supposed to operate the sunroof as well, but that didn't work for me so i'm emailing him later tonight to find out if i did something wrong...all my windows work well though, with no fuses blown...i have friends with other types of cars that want to do this badly since they saw it on mine...its just a nice little feature

 

i believe the door handles are 60 bucks a piece... at least that's what i was quoted last time i called courtesy.

 

o...sorry, just read your post over again...i don't want the chrome exterior ones...i want the chrome interior handles...anyone want to trade for grey interior handles?...i want to keep my exterior body colored handles

 

I recommend this mod highly. the chrome looks much better against the frost interior.

 

anyone know how much it is for the chrome door handles/locks for the interior? how hard is the install? i've never tried taking them off

 

Plus.....don't forget that chrome gives you 5-10 hp easy....j/k
