Well I will tell you about my experience about droning. I have a 2000 SE and i wanted a better sounding exhaust. I bought a Powertech PT1011 and had it installed. I loved the sound at idle and under acceleration, however from 2000 to 25000 rpm's it had a drone to it. Sort of a roar that was annoying (at least to me) u only heard it at hiway speeds. I decided not to keep the powertech instead i had the stock muffler put back on and had the resonator removed. I like the sound better. But that is a matter of personal taste. Lots of guys love the way the Powertech sounds.

P.S. If you decide to buy a powertech, i have one for sale that was only on my car for a month, it already has the brackets welded to it.

I have a 2000 SE, and put the same muffler on. The drone can be a little annoying, and if I had an automatic, I would probably remove it. However, I just shift gears around it when it bothers me. Most of the time, the stereo is on too loud to notice it, anyway.
