It won't...it just extends the power band with a small increase here and there in the midrange.

Small increase will become big once headers & S/C goes in. On another note how far do you live from Tucson ? I'll be visiting family member in april.

They have done some work on the 2k1 Auto, they have downloaded code from my ECU, and really all they have to do is have me come in and apply the new maps and the limiter adjustment to the car. But TS has been doing alot of other things lately and we are very much on the back burner.

Regime, PLease i know you have done so much to help the Maxima COMMUNITY, but is thier a way you can go to TS to take care of that, and get the fuel map and limiter adjustments out of the way.... so that way the sooner you take care of it the sooner the realease..!!! Thanks again to all!!!!!!

It will happen for the 2K1 autos, just a matter of time.

However, inorder for autos to take advantage of the extended rev-limiter, you'd have to manually shift or do that paddle-shifter mod someone came up with awhile ago.

My car is a bone stock automatic '00 GXE. Just picked it up yesterday. I live near Torrance, so let me know if you need my assistance as a tester/guinea pig. I'd be happy to help out the cause!

ECU is ONLY for 01s, if you have a LATE 00 it might work also.

Hey, does anyone understand how CVTC works at all? Like how it actually changes the timing. I know that oil gets pushed back and forth but I don't know just exactly how that changes the timing. If someone could enlighten me.

Trust me, If I could speed up the development of this, I would. (already been about 1.3 years for my involvement and probably a bunch more months for ICE to get it all setup to begin with)
Basicly the 2k1 max part is going to be a SUPER low number seller compared to the other products that TS is working on. I am still just grateful to TS for even attempting this at all for our car, if we have to endure a wait for this product so be it.

Was this paddle-shifter mod specifically for the auto maxima?

If I had an auto trans Max, I'd do this in a heartbeat:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ghlight=paddle

[EDIT]
Looks like it never went retail, however maybe Level 10's is available still: http://www.levelten.com/store/import...shiftronic.htm

that paddle manumatic thing looks way too complicated...and it would probably be better if it was on the shift lever like the G35. Hopefully, someone out there can fabricate something like that so that when I get my next maxima it'll be the first mod I do.

Yes, however since you're SC'd, you'll want the L-spec version probably and Tadashi could do that flash RIGHT NOW, if he'd get around to it.

Although, you might see if he can offer retarded timing from peak torque to redline being SC'd that should be easy to change.

I think I'm going to release you guys on TechnoSquare soon, ie start bombarding them with email/phone calls asking for when/where you send in your ECUs.

I'm tired of waiting.

haha... brian? Man, you should have seen his face when he told me that he got stuck with the "maxima program". Too bad he drives that crazy drift-spec Z that is featured all over the place.

he is tadashi's protection from the masses. He's the only that I always talk to even when I call to ask for tadashi. Maybe its time for a trip down to Cali.

Yeah, I know he's the front man, but Tadashi is the brains and needs to get this thing done.

That's a long drive man...long drive, but actually I'll be in San Diego in March so I'll be stopping by, if I get a free couple hours.

I have been trying to get sloppymax to call Tadashi for the past three days for his 2k1 AE Auto. Last week when I sent in my ECU I somehow got to deal with Tadashi directly.

I think I just lucked out and called at the right time. He does answer all of my emails though. Let Haydn and I give this a try to see if we can help get this one moving again.

figured out the problem. P0138 - o2 sensor is not hitting maximum voltage (0.6-1.0V), hence throwing the code. I've checked all connections and can't get the thing to juice out enough power, hence its oscillates between 0-.14V instead of 0-.60V like yours

gotta be a deffective simulator, if you have 5V refference voltage from the ECU and then you only get like .14V back then there is something wrong with that simulator. Mine goes 0 and .6V constantly on and off.

I'll be in La Hoya(sp?) on the 13th, so if I'm free, I'd love too. How far is that from you/TechnoSquare/SFR?

I'll be in Cali from the 12th-16th at least, but "busy".
