After the video comparisons of the Greddy EVO VS HKS, I just put my order in for the HKS this weekend. The only gripe I have about the Greddy is the fart-can type look, but I guess it doesn't bother some people. Other than that, they both sound sweet!

a few months back i saw a video clip with just the tips. it was like the exhaust comparo page, but it was two different cars instead of several. the one car had the dtm tips the other had a big 3" or 4" tip. has n e one seen this video too? i have seen the evo vs hks when the cars were driving; it's not that one. does anyone have the link?

your old set up wasnt raspy, if your blown with the HKS it gets raspy..

if ur N/A with simple mods its a smooth sound.

Are we talking just the muffler section? If so, I have to recommend the Powertech PT1012. It sounds sweet and deep..

Ya know, I never noticed it before, but you're right, it does contour well with the stillen lip. Unfortunately, I don't have the extra $$$ for the Stillen lip, and I already bought the HKS.

I've had the HKS on my '03 SE for about 6 months now. I like the sound alot. Not raspy at all. Sounds especially good at WOT.

Guys, I'm not sure about the magnaflow setup. Back in the day when I had a N/A supra, I purchased a MagnaFlow Muffler for it and I tell you what, That thing out right sounded Nasty. I couldn't stand the way it made my car sound. Here is a video clip from my N/A Back in the day.
The Blue car is N/A, The Maroon is Turbo with JIC Bullet Catback. http://www.geocities.com/nismorg/supra/

Oh Yeah, The Link does work, Just Give Geocities time.

The MagnaFlow sounds nice, but drones badly at 1800-2400 RPMs (Read: Cruising Range). The droning was way too bad once I installed my Y/B/Cat 2.5" setup.

I have a FlowMaster 60 Series (not the 50). I didn't have it before the Y/B/Cat, but it would be as quiet as stock, maybe just a little louder. The FlowMaster sounds very nice with the full setup.

There's a post on the .org with sound clips with the FlowMaster. Search the 5th gen forum by my name and you should find it.
