Lets us know what you think of them after you get a few miles on 'em. Where did you purchase them from and if we may know, how much did you pay?

I had them for about 1000 miles. GREAT tires. Smooth ride, great handling, and great traction.

I got to test it when I was driving down local highway. A squirrel jumped from the side of the road and I had to swirve at around 50mph. No squeal what so ever. Just smooth swoosh.

All I need now is some struts and new springs.

BTW, I have 235/40/18 size.

How long did it take you to get them, and were they on back order? I have a GLE with 16" wheels, and those tires have been on backorder forever for the size I need.

I thought the Michelin Pilot Sports A/S were the tire of choice for the 2k2s with 17s. Am I wrong? I'm getting ready to order them so they'll be in by next week.

Thought that I would give an update as it has been almost two years. The tires are great I have put on about 24,000 miles and have 8-9/32nds all around left. Over all the handle great and pull like champs in snow or rain. My only complant is that they took a good 3000 miles to break in, not sure if that is normal or not. But if you are looking for a good reliable tire that is affordable, this is your tire.

I also just hooked up some new tires.

Ordered Yokohama AVS ES100's 235/45/17 from tirerack. Took 3 days to get to my house and had them installed yesterday. I will try to remember to post a nice little review once I'm a few thousand miles in.

I have had them for almost a year now, 235/45/17 on OEM 17's.

I love them, they are a great tire for the North East. Great all around traction, wet, dry and most important snow.

I have not driven on the Contis in the snow since putting on the D2's.... however, I have faith nothing will change.

The only prob I had, is when they were new they would flat spot after sitting for awhile. after about a mile they were fine. It just gets annoying hearing friends say "whats wrong with your tires?" , and have to explain flat spotting 8 million times.

they will work fine, I had nokian 235/45/17's on the car before my 235/45/17 conti's. So I have had that size for almost 3 1/2 years without one problem.
