why is that when ever i turn my high beams on my fog lights turn off. i want to keep them both on, do i need to do some re-wiring. oh and another thing do the fog lights have the same bulbs as the headlights.cuz i want to know, can i put h4 bulbs in the fog lights like the ones in the headlights. can this be done? thanx for your help.

 

Headlights are H4 bulbs and fogs are H3. Totally different type of bulbs, therefore they cannot be interchangeable. As far as the fog light rewire, you must wire it to your parking light circiut. If you're car is equipped with fogs, just open the hood, find the fog relay and cut the yellow wire with the 2 silver tracers. Splice this wire to the turn signal parking light wire (red wire with 2 yellow tracers). There's a write-up on this, meaning the wireing colors may be different on other years, so search is your friend.
