my neighbor's ego and his wrx have him thinking hes the god of all sports cars, went off a roll from 70 and i pulled by a car, so when i got home he rings my doorbell in a rage and demands to go again, so what the hell i pull the drop resistor out and manual shift from 20 but this time im only up by a fender, i was expecting to get anialated, but im pretty sure this kid cant drive, but if anyone saw one of the threads posted a few days ago of a clip of a 2k2 auto pulling on a wrx at the track was pretty amazing. I am in no way saying a modded 3.0 auto is faster than these cars but you 3.5's definantly have hope

 

He cant drive for ****...even stock they should be able to slightly pull a modded auto 5th gen. I held one off from 55-80 but he started to walk by after that so I just just let off. There was no point to continue building speed on the road. This was a while ago...I try not to stupid **** on the road anymore.

One day me and my friend were going to car show to enter our cars, we're both in a same carclub and we were late so we had to speed......
He had WRX with type 2 STI tubo with 18psi his WRX was really hooked up and mine was SCed 2k GLE(auto) pushing 7psi.......and boy.......I had no chance in hell against that WRX in the pick up......but maybe in long run I might be able to catch him up......

 

I actually find from 60 - 80, its whoever gets the jump and they stay locked. Beyond 80+ they belongs to us. I've not run against a sti.

I guess the one I raced was slightly modded then Off the line there is no chance in hell, but from a roll on the sweet spot the max can catch alot of cars off guard from the 55-60mph roll. By the time I hit 90 my front fender was at his rear so I said screw it and let off. I kinda got the jump but it wasnt by much. I have him 3 honks so he knew I was gonna go. The car looks all stock from the outside but if the boost was cranked, I had no way of knowing.
I though after 80 we would belong to them...our 3rd gear is long as hell while they have more gears to row through
