So the other day I was looking at the back of my car and what do I see? The driver's side wheel is leaning in.

It looks like this: /-----|

I thought it might be my eyes so I threw a level against my tire... sure enough the left wheel is leaning in.

I then thought... maybe I screwed up with my RSB install.

I just uninstalled my RSB and it's still leaning. Any suggestions? I have a feeling I will be taking the car into the dealer on Monday.

Did you tighten the nuts to the correct spec after putting your tires back on? Is there something heavy on that side of the car?

I was watching Happy Hour for the Daytona 500 (Winston Cup). They busted up some parts this afternoon. You could take some hints from them and use a sledge hammer. It will eventually end up like this: |-----|

The spec I used is.. "that's as tight as I can get em" Same spec I used on the passenger side. There is nothing heavy on that side of the car other than me and when I'm looking at the rear wheels I'm not in the car. Guess I get to go to the dealer again. Maybe the rear axle is weaker on auto maxes perhaps I'll be getting it replaced too. I don't drive crazy... haven't hit giant potholes at high speeds. Don't pull any dukes of hazzard moves. I'm really getting tired of taking my car into the shop.

What about the other night? Weren't you pulling the e-brake and sliding around in the snow or was it fine after that. I did the same ting with my Camry and it messed the back wheels up a little.

I wasn't crazy on the ebrake at all.. only did it two or three times... and besides they do that stuff on the Maxima commercials so the car should be able to handle it.

They do it in lightly wet asphalt, or dirt. Slightly wet road is (for some damn reason) as slipperyas doing it on an ice rink. I almost killed my self in a drizzle.

What is this a fuc|<ing competition, I was just saying that I had a similar experience and I had similar results. They have also said in their commercials that the car goes 0-60 in 6.7 seconds not many of ours actually do.

What is wrong with these replies they never show up.

What is this a fuc|<ing competition, I had a similar experience with similar results. I was just voicing my opinion. Justification, Maxima commercials say it goes 0-60 in 6.7 seconds how many of ours actually do? Radio control car commercials show them doing some pretty craxy ****. Point is that you can't believe everything you see/read.

ummm...

better get those wheels torqed to spec, instead of "that's as tight as I can get em". that seems to be the quickest way to warped rotors. especially in our 2K+ max's.

Putting wheels on too tight will warp the rotors? Doh...

Hehehe... yes, that's why most of our rotors are warped.

There's no adjustment for camber at the rear. Either your spindle is falling off or the axle is bent. If it were the wheel it would wobble.

Ouch... what would it take to fix either of those problems? Would it be warranty work? I'm sooooooo clost to trading this car in for a GTI or Golf today.

If the spindle is falling off it would probably be warranty, and only be a minor repair. If the axle is bent they would probably try to call it abuse or road damage and charge for the new axle and labor.
