FINALLY! My 2k2 6speed!

Well today I finally upgraded from my 95 SE auto, to a 2002 SE 6 speed. Cloth seats, sunroof, 18k miles, nothing too special, for 17,400. Wow, is it nice to chirp into 2nd and almost into 3rd. ::

Next up....TINT/clears.

Shift just right and 3rd will shirp. 2nd should do more than chirp-only tried it a couple times (before clutch was replaced under warranty) but it should leave a blacky. 4th gear is good for 120 or so... its my fav...

Just curious, are you saying the car cant handle too many really hard 1-2 shifts? That's something I need to know as I've done quite a few of them already, I'd be seriously bummed if it couldn't handle it and broke.

Later,

No Im not saying that at all. My clutch was amkign taht wierd sdounf on take up and I had a TSB scheduled. Knowing I was getting a new clutch, I had some fun. Thats all. Babied the new clutch for several hundred miles before driving normal again. My 95 Maxima 5 speed OEM clutch had 130,xxx on it with many hard shifts and still fine.

Got my 2k2 6 speed for $17,500 in March of this year. had 24K miles and now approaching 30K fast. I will keep her for 5-8 more years (which is normal for me) and sell before it hits 150K miles for a few grand.

Um, 17,400 was before my trade in. Man....i love this car. Suspension is WAY better than the '95, and sits lower too. I think i'll have some fun w/ this car, but not sure on getting an intake due to our F'n mafs.

Congrats whenver I drive my 03 I dont miss the old 97 or 01 at all your right the mods they did to the rear vs the 95-99's I can tell the difference, it doesnt slip no were near as much as my 97 did over rough terrain. I just love driving it even though it drinks gas like a ****. Same with the our 350, enjoy that Max.
