Look at the Autometer shift lights. I have the bigger verison, but they have a mini version now that would fit inside your A/C vent or pretty much anywhere. Problem is they use the "RPM pills", which I found to be pretty hard to get where you want it.
They have others that don't require RPM pills like the Harlan or there is a cheapy in my Summit catalog that has a dial on the back that you set.

- Autometer has many options.
- MSD Shift light, and MSD LED Shift light.
- Harlan shift light.
- DKS programmable sequential shift light.
- SPA Design sequential shift light with lcd rpm.
I wish I could remember the rest of them. There's a ton. There is another sequential one that isn't as programable as the DKS, but it looks nicer. It just lights a light at equal intervals throughout your RPM range until your programmed shift point. Trying to remember who makes it...
I actually have a Harlan RPM switch on order. I'm going to mount a single LED for the RPM switch up next to the alarm LED.
