2002 In Dash 6 disc changer

Hey Guys!

I am looking to purchase a Nissan Bose 6 disc in dash changer to replace my Bose CD player that is on the fritz in my 2000 Maxima. I found a 2002 CD player on the web. Does anyone know if the 2002 or 2003 CD players are compatible and will work in the 2000 Maxima? It looks like it will fit and the contections seem the same.

Any suggestions.

Andrew

It will work. I did this a couple of months ago. However, the Bose 6-disc has a bad rep for the 02s. The CD player cuts in and out on the left side speakers. The one that I bought from an org member (not his fault at all) started doing this last week. I ended up putting back the original 2000 Bose single disc.

I would look aftermarket if I were going to replace again. Which I will, but not for another few months. (building a house)

Thanks Korki
why would you bump up a thread that's 5 years old?
there is no way to replace the cd changer only, you'd replace the whole thing.
