1) you 'can' get them turned, but some ppl. have had problems with warpage afterwards.

2) the stock ones are just a little bit cheaper than performance ones. So i don't see the purpose in getting stock, when for a little bit more money you can get performance.

3) I bought the powerslot, because i couldn't find any Brembos for a 2k2. so far I am happy and have had no problems. I am using Hawk HPS pads with them... I got everything from www.ptuning.com they have great prices and my stuff came in like a week. Great Site

turning the rotors will only increase the chance that they will warp again. there would now be less material with the same amount of heat as before. i had my turned with new pads at 9k because they were warped. at 30k, they were warped again and the dealer wanted to turn them again. there was not enough to cut so they replaced the rotors for free and left the pads since they were fine and plenty of life left on them. i would not pay to have them turned nor would i buy stock again. i plan on going with brembo blanks if/after these warp again.

1) Some people who have tuned their warped OEM rotors have had problems again.

2) If your OEM rotors warped, why would you want to take a chance on another set?

3) There's a group deal going on now for Maximas up to '01 (although I believe the guy will be including '02/'03s soon): http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....4&page=1&pp=30 . I got a full front and rear set of Brembo rotors, slotted and zinc-plated for $200. Great deal.

Peace.

I would have them resurfaced 1st. If they go bad again, then upgrade to some new stuff...
