The HIDs are D2R. The high beams are 9005s.

D2R is what stock is, D2S is for projector headlights. They do not have that strip on it so if you stick them into a non-projector housing, they appear alot brighter.

Turns out i have three Archaniod Cysts on my brain. 1 is huge and the other 2 are small.

That explains why I have Bells Palsy and loss in vision and hearing.

Man, I dunno what to do.

What's the maximum wattage I can get without having to worry about melting or anything like that? Sorry about needing brain surgery Igor, that sucks. Just keep taking it easy.

d2r are only 35watt......the high 9005's maybe 65w, no higher

Even if D2S looks "cooler" or brighter in our housings, I'm thinking it would just screw up the beam and you'd lose visibility.

I'm considering 6000K, probably no higher, and D2R. Not sure about brands though? I heard the KOPS stuff flickers/burns out quickly...

I have KOPS 7000k D2S bulbs and no visbility loss or beam problems.....actually they are brighter than my 6000k KOPS and stock............i am quite pleased, assuming they don't die like my 6000's

It's a bubble between the brain and skull. I have 3 of them. 1 is over 8cm long, other is about 5 cm and the 3rd one is very small. They are all filled with some liquids of some sort. I am confused my self.
