seems like the old link to the rear deck removal is now dead. can anyone give me a link to how to remove the rear deck on a 5th gen... thanks

 

bump? i found intructions, but a picture tutorial would really help.. i tried to pull off the top and it seems like its stuck on the back.. near the glass

how do you remove the two side cushions, the part that does not fold down? i've been trying to remove it, but cant seem to find the bols. Do i need to remove the back seat first???

 

I removed the lower cushion, folded the backs down, then removed the sides. It's been a long time since i did it, so i don't remember where the bolts are. The whole evolution took me about 2 1/2 hours.

 

1) Remove the rear seat bottom
2) Fold down the rear seat backs
3) Remove the rear seat backs by removing the 2 bolts on each seatback that are covered by the backing, which is velcro'd over the bolt
4) Remove the side seat backs by removing the bolt at the bottom, then lift straight up
5) Remove the plastic trim clips that hold in the rear deck
6) Remove the rear deck
