New paint?

My car has been badly damaged from my Chimney's exhaust at my house. Its covered in black dots of tar& oil junk. Nothing will take it off, even tried clay bar. Should I attempt taking it to get detailed at an auto body shop, or is that a waste of time? Im thinking i should just get it repainted, and put in a claim thru my comprehensive insurance... any thoughts..

I'd say cough up some good money take it to a really good detail shop and have em try to buff it out... or maybe have them try colorsanding your max even though the color on your max may not be faded in coplor it might help a little more

hope this helps some..is all else fails then look into having it repainted

Try claiming it on your homeowners insurance...

Detailing should take it off. Good luck! If not a new paint job doesnt hurt.
